The Rose and Crown by the Riverside Players

We are always interested to hear about productions of Priestley’s less well-known plays by amateur groups.  One such is The Rose and Crown, written for television in 1946.  It is being performed by The Riverside Players on 11 and 12 October at Eynsford Village Hall.

Apparently this play was the first produced by the Players when they were founded in 1962.  For their Golden Jubilee, it is being revisited, along with Still Life by Noel Coward.  Further details on their website.
